Threads Insights is free and tells you a lot, if you know how to read it. Learn where to find it, what each number means, and which ratios matter. Then run your own numbers through the health check to see exactly what to fix next.
Go to your profile and tap the Insights icon. Choose 7, 14, 30 or 90 days at the top.
Open your profile on the web and select Insights - the same numbers on a bigger screen.
Open one of your posts and tap its views or activity to see that post's numbers.
Compare equal periods, like this 30 days vs the previous 30, not this week vs last month.
Numbers missing or stuck at zero? See Insights not showing.
Pick a section to see what it measures, how to read it, and the question it answers.
Enter your numbers for the last 30 days (and the 30 days before, if you have them). You'll get your key ratios and the top things to fix. Nothing leaves your browser.
Ranges are rough rules of thumb. The best benchmark is your own last month.
Totals go up and down with how much you post. Ratios tell you whether your posts are getting better.
Interactions ÷ views × 100Example: 720 ÷ 24,000 = 3%How compelling each post is.
Replies ÷ interactions × 100Example: 130 ÷ 720 = 18%How much conversation you start.
New followers ÷ views × 1,000Example: 60 ÷ 24,000 × 1,000 = 2.5Follows per 1,000 views - how well views turn into audience.
Views ÷ postsExample: 24,000 ÷ 12 = 2,000Reach per post, independent of how often you post.
Link clicks ÷ views × 100Example: 90 ÷ 24,000 = 0.38%How well Threads drives traffic.
