FAQ

Threads content calendar FAQ

How do I make a content calendar for Threads?
Choose 3–4 content pillars, decide how many times a week you'll post, and map one pillar and idea to each posting day for the month. The builder on this page does this for you with real dates, then lets you edit and export it.
How many posts a week should I plan for Threads?
Plan what you can keep up. Three to five posts a week is a solid start for most businesses and creators; plan daily if you have the time. Leave room for timely posts and replies.
Can I schedule Threads posts from my content calendar?
Yes. Threads has a free built-in scheduler in the app and on threads.com, and you can schedule posts up to 75 days ahead. Write a week's posts in one sitting, then schedule them.
What should a Threads content calendar include?
For each post: the date, the content pillar, the idea or draft, the format (text, image, video, poll) and whether it's done. Add a topic tag and a link if the post needs one.
How much of my calendar should be promotion?
Keep promotion to roughly 10–30% of posts depending on your goal. The rest should teach, show behind the scenes or start conversations, which is what earns the attention that makes promotion work.
Can I import the calendar into Google Calendar?
Yes. Export the CSV from the builder, then in Google Calendar on a computer go to Settings, Import & export, and import the file into the calendar of your choice.
