Privacy Policy: We Don't Collect Your Data

Thraads.com is an independent guide to Threads. We don't use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or accounts, and we don't collect, sell or share personal data. This page explains exactly what that means, the few technical things that still happen when any website loads, and how to clear anything our tools save in your own browser.

    Third parties

Technical things that happen when any website loads

We don't collect data, but loading a web page always involves a few technical connections. To be fully transparent:

    ๐Ÿ”คGoogle Fonts

Our typefaces load from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details to deliver the font files. Google doesn't set cookies for this. See Google's privacy policy.

    Google privacy policy โ†—
    ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธOur hosting provider

Like every website, the servers that host Thraads may automatically keep short-term technical logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, time) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't use these logs to track or identify visitors.

    ๐Ÿ”—Links to other websites

We link to Meta, app stores and tools we review. Once you leave Thraads, that site's own privacy policy applies.

    ๐ŸงฉYour browser and extensions

Your browser, device or extensions may collect data on their own. That's outside our control - check their settings.

    Emailing us

    If you email us

    โœ‰๏ธ

Our contact page doesn't send anything by itself - it only prepares a message and opens your own email app. If you then choose to email us, we receive what you send: your email address, name if you include it, and your message.

We use it only to read and reply to you. We don't add you to mailing lists, and we don't sell or share it. Ask us any time to delete your emails and we will.

Never include passwords, login codes, ID documents or payment details in an email to anyone - including us.

    Your rights

    Your privacy rights

Wherever you live - including under the GDPR in the UK and EU and privacy laws in US states like California - you have rights over your personal data.

    ๐Ÿ‘๏ธAccess

Ask what data we hold about you. For almost everyone, the answer is none.

    ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธDeletion

Ask us to delete any emails you've sent us.

    โœ๏ธCorrection

Ask us to correct information in an email thread.

    ๐ŸšซNo sale or sharing

We don't sell or share personal information - there's nothing to opt out of.

    โš–๏ธComplain

You can contact your local data protection authority.

    ๐Ÿ“งContact

Email contact@thraads.com about anything on this page.

    ๐Ÿง’
    Children

Thraads is a general guide and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect any data from children - and since we don't collect personal data at all, there's nothing to collect.

    Changes

    Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the site works - for example, by adding analytics or advertising - we'll update this page before the change goes live, describe exactly what's new, and change the "Last updated" date at the top.

    FAQ

    Privacy FAQ

    Does Thraads.com use cookies?
No. We don't set any cookies - not for analytics, advertising or anything else - so there's no cookie banner to click through.
Do you track me with analytics?
No. We don't use Google Analytics or any other analytics, tracking pixels or session recording tools.
    Do you show ads?
No. There are no ads or ad networks on Thraads.com.
What happens to what I type into your tools?
It stays in your browser. Our tools run entirely on your device and never send what you type to us. A few planners save progress in your browser's local storage, which you can clear on this page.
Can you see my Threads account?
No. We have no connection to your Threads, Instagram or Meta account and never ask you to log in.
    Is Thraads part of Meta?
No. We're an independent guide and aren't affiliated with Meta. Meta's own privacy policy covers your use of Threads itself.
Why do you mention Google Fonts?
Our pages use fonts delivered by Google Fonts. To send the font files, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details. We don't receive any of that data.
